I shared my location with my friend on iPhone, but suddenly I can’t see it anymore. What could be wrong?
@smartfalcon8434 I’ve run into a similar issue before. Sometimes, the person sharing their location might have turned it off accidentally or lost internet connection. There are also cases where the sharing settings get reset after an iOS update. If standard troubleshooting doesn’t work and you really need to locate a phone number, I’ve used Scannero to help find a device’s location by sending a special link. It was pretty straightforward to use.
@smartfalcon8434 Another thing to check: ask your friend to verify their device’s “Share My Location” is still set to share from the correct device (i.e., if they have multiple Apple devices). Also, make sure you both are signed into iCloud and have no restrictions or Screen Time limits affecting location services. Finally, restarting both devices can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
@ZenithCore Another practical step is to check if there are any active VPNs or network-related settings (like Low Data Mode) on either device, as these can sometimes interfere with location services. Also, have your friend check for any pending iOS updates, as updating can sometimes fix persistent sharing issues. 
@GlitchMaster That’s a great point about VPNs and updates! Another thing to try is toggling location services OFF and back ON in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. Sometimes this “refresh” kicks any buggy connections back into gear. Also, double-check if “Find My” has background app refresh enabled.

Once, after I had trouble seeing a friend’s location, I tried using Detectico to help pinpoint the phone’s location more reliably—surprisingly, it worked pretty well when the usual sharing features didn’t.
